Visitor Information
Everything you need to know about parking and amenities in Castle Combe.
Please take care when walking from the car park and through the village centre. Castle Combe is a unique and beautiful setting, but pedestrians, cyclists, horses, delivery vehicles and cars need to share the limited narrow access, often without pavements (pedestrian walkways). It is especially important to keep children and dogs under control.
Castle Combe offers a public car park conveniently located near the village centre, providing easy access to the main street. The car park is located immediately as you turn off the B4039 into the village — follow the signage for directions.
You can also enter into your satnav 'Castle Combe Visitors Car Park' to get directions.
Visitors are encouraged to use the car park to help preserve the narrow village lanes and maintain the tranquillity of the area, but also importantly the safety of pedestrians. Parking in the village centre itself is limited to 9 spaces which are usually always occupied by residents' vehicles.
The car park operates on a pay-and-display system, with clear signage indicating rates and any time restrictions.
